"There's nothing here to take for granted, with each breath that we take"

I honestly have no idea why, but I've had this song by the Strokes stuck in my head called "What Ever Happened?", but I feel like it's been the perfect song for my life at the moment. Things just suddenly picked up for me, and they don't really seem like they're going to get worse. I'm in a good mood lately, despite some minor bad things occurring here and there, and I really feel great. So.. I guess onto recent news, I came home on Thursday, and so far my schedule has been pretty packed. I came home, test drove my new car for a bit, showered, and then immediately proceeded to hang out with one of my friends Cam. It was nice, cause once I walked into Chili's (where we ate) I ran into a few other friends, and ended up sitting with them.

On Friday, I spent the day with my sister at first, then called my friends Max and Jillian to eat dinner with me and my sister. We ended up driving around and deciding to go to Steak and Shake, which was REALLY good. :] I hadn't been there in so long, so it really hit the spot. We came home and watched Iron Man, which I hadn't seen in a while either, so it was a good time. Nathan finally came home around midnight, and we spent the rest of the night playing Rock Band, eating, and chatting.

Saturday, Nathan's girlfriend Melissa had work, so we spent the day hanging out. I had to get a haircut, so he decided to tag along and get one too. We sound like a couple or something, doing everything together :P (No homo Nathan). Anyway, I really don't think my haircut looks bad for once, I actually kind of like it. It's much more manageable at the moment, and it's a nice change I guess. I'm sure I'll let it grow out to it's former length eventually, but for now, I'll enjoy it. :] My friend Lisa was talking to me last night, and she said "Pics or it never happened!" so I took a silly picture just for kicks. My fake angry face is so silly :] Anyhow, after the haircut, Nathan and I hung around the house for a bit, but then decided we might as well go out and drove out to the mall. We walked around, and checked out a bunch of stores, but the only thing we ended up buying was a tennis video game (Virtua Tennis 3) to quench our Tennis hunger when there isn't much good tennis on TV. Good news is that we split the game 50/50, but he's going to be living with me for 4 years, so I mean it made sense to. Finally we went to Chili's AGAIN, to visit Melissa while she was working and eat dinner with her once she got off. I was so hungry, I ate like a total fatty. I'm sure I'm going to be sick of Chili's by the end of the week.

Today so far has been a kind of lazy day, I've been hanging out with the family (they said they haven't spent enough time with me yet), until another friend of mine Ben wants to try and hang out later. Hopefully we'll be able to, because that's what the plan has been. >.> On another note, i have this really small patch of a rash on my right ring finger, and on the bottom right of my left palm. I figure it's minor poison Ivy or something, but it's a slight annoyance. I hope it goes away soon, and I hope it doesn't get really itchy!

I figured I might as well update you guys on what's been going on, because I've been really bad about it lately. I hope I get to hear from everyone soon! :]
