"There's nothing here to take for granted, with each breath that we take"
"While some have gone their separate ways...
...There's some still caught up with the past instead."
Life's been a blur, and too much of a rollercoaster lately. I'm not complaining too much though, things aren't exactly horrible, but nothing's good either. As mentioned earlier I've been working like crazy, even on 4th of July, but it wound up being a pretty good day. I woke up to my sister calling me, asking me if I wanted to go to a cookout that our friend was having at her house. I got ready and went, and it was great to see her and stuff. I met a bunch of lovely ladies, and just got to chat with everyone, which was nice. After that, it was off to work, which was really lame. Nobody came in because they were all busy with their holiday plans, so it was a really slow night. I had a lot of friends come in to visit--even the ex-girlfriend, Jordan. She wanted to talk with me, and it was sufficiently awkward. I kind of lately realize how much better I could have done in my girlfriend selection, I haven't had a chance to date a really gorgeous girl (inside, and of course outside) yet. She keeps dwelling on the past it seems. I just want to erase that era of my life, just get on with where I am now. I feel like it's not that big of a deal anymore to put it behind me, but people just keep pulling it back into my life, STILL asking questions and chatting about it. It's going to be a year since I've been single in November. I wonder when people will finally realize I don't care anymore and don't want to talk about it anymore. Though, I think it's funny that my "friends" want to meet her and attempt to fight with her. That part still is kind of amusing.
Aside from all the friends visiting last night, today was pretty interesting too. I went to hang out with my friends Rory (MakenZero ), David (Plastikrokk ), Cam, and Shirey, and we checked out this restaurant called the Tilted Kilt. It was freakin' awesome! It was almost like a Hooters, but with a Scottish theme, and all the waitresses there were gorgeous, including our own. The food was really great, surprisingly. It was honestly better than what I normally get somewhere like Chili's, so I was happy. The rest of the time, we were playing this fighting game called BlazBlue, and relaxing. I've been gaming way too much lately, but I'm loving the nerding out.
Well.. that's pretty much all for now. It's 3:14 AM, might as well try to get some sleep.
