"There's nothing here to take for granted, with each breath that we take"

I haven't been keeping up very well guys, I'm sorry. I had a good weekend and stuff, saw I Love You, Man, and had my buddy Ben come and visit me on campus from back home.

Since I don't really have much on my mind, I couldn't really decide what to blog about. I mentioned that to my friend Lisa, and she gave me an idea on what to start my blog about: My fuzzy lime green awesome shirt.

So.. how to get this started. I guess with how the conversation arose. She asked me what color I think of if I'm thinking about her, and I thought about it for a while and ended up coming up with the answer lime green. Just because, it's one of my favorite couple of colors, and it's a nice warm color in my mind, and she just is such a genuinely nice person (so I was reminded of her). My response after telling her my color choice was:

Oh Lisa, what to say, what to say. You're such a fantastic person, why do you have to be so far from me? I have known you for a while, but not really very personally until recently. We started talking a few days after Jordan breaking up with me because I noticed you were going through a rough time. I just wanted you to know that you could lean on me for support to try to help you out, and that has sparked into a much more beautiful thing. You've created hope in a world that has seemed so hopeless to me. You've made me smile when there was no reason to smile. You've made me realize that the world around me isn't as cruel as it seems. You're making me into a better person just through being my support, and I really just wish I could return the favor.

You're such a loving figure in my life, and I feel like sometimes I'm being torn apart when I see you're down. I want such a great person to find happiness in her life. I really hope this friendship continues to grow, because I already know how meaningful it is to me right now. Your views always matter to me, and whenever I get a chance to chat with you, I'm always overjoyed.  It's so silly, but I threw on my fuzzy lime green shirt just to remind me of the warm feeling I get when we talk. It makes me feel secure, and that's all you've ever done for me, be a fantastic friend. Now whenever I wear this shirt, I'm going to think of you, and be so happy. You're such a great friend, you put meaning into my clothing!

I hope you find happiness soon. Just know, I'm always here for you. Even if I can't return half of all the support you've given me, I'll try my best. I love you Lisa.
